You move from one thing to the next.
You’re watching the clock.
You’re trying to make it all work.

But you’re left with the consistent feeling that you’re always a step behind.

This short, practical mini course will help you get some much-needed time back.

Every school year, every day, you think “there has to be a better way.” There’s just so much to fit into the literacy block, and not nearly enough time to do it all.

All too often, you feel frustrated and overwhelmed with all there is to get to tomorrow because it just couldn’t all be done in a day, despite your careful planning. You’ve tried to reconfigure your block every which way, but it just ends up feeling disjointed and messy.

The struggle to try to make all the pieces fit is real.

Imagine getting to the end of the day and feeling like ELA worked.

You got to what mattered.
Your mind isn’t swirling with reminders of everything you didn’t have time for.
And tomorrow doesn’t feel like something you’re already behind on.

That’s exactly the shift this course is designed to help you make.

Inside this mini course, you’ll find four short modules. Each set of lessons focuses on one key area time tends to slip away in the literacy block and one simple change you can try right away.

Every lesson includes a “try it tomorrow” action step so you can actually use it, not just think about it.

Learn to notice the parts of your day that take more time than they give back–and feel more confident stepping away from them.

Learn to make simple adjustments to your teaching so lessons feel more focused with less pressure to fit everything in.

Learn to recognize how reading and writing can work together in seamless ways so they are no longer competing for time.

Why this course?

I created this course because I kept seeing the same pattern.

Teachers doing everything they could to make it work. Planning carefully. Reworking. Trying to fit everything in.

And still constantly feeling like there was never quite enough time.

I know exactly how it feels, because I spent 15 years in the classroom myself. I still see this frustration now in the teachers I work with.

This is the work I’ve spent years focusing on. Not adding more, but helping teachers use their time in a way that actually works.

For just $32, you’ll get practical, classroom-tested strategies you can use right away plus a fresh way to think about how you use your time in the literacy block. If you’re ready for ELA to feel a little more manageable, click the button below.

I’ve spent the past 25+ years in the elementary school setting. Fifteen of those years were in the classroom, figuring this all out.

Now, as a K-5 literacy coach, I work with teachers every day in real classrooms to streamline, strengthen, and simplify their instruction so they can do more with the time they have.

Through my own classroom experience, ongoing professional learning, and my work every day work alongside teachers, I’ve found what works, what doesn’t, and what to avoid that just wastes time.
