Why did I decide to begin a teaching blog now, when there are already so many others out there?  Because it's high time we SIMPLIFY.  You are not going to see ads or products to buy here, EVER.  Teachers have enough "stuff!"   What teachers need now more than ever is to cut the clutter and the confusion--with practical, doable, and research-aligned best practices that impact student learning-- AND that make your day to day work easier and more rewarding.  This is my sole purpose and my passion.    If that sounds like it's what you're looking for, you've come to the right place!

Let's work together to solve your literacy puzzles!
